Maine Med Card Certification & Renewals
The State of Maine requires all medical cannabis consumers to hold a valid Medical Cannabis Certification, renewed on a yearly basis. Maine Medical Cannabis Certification makes acquiring your med card fast, convenient and affordable!

Begin Application & Submit $40 Payment
On the "Online Application" page, fill out the form with your information, upload a photo of your valid Maine Photo ID and pay the $40 application fee. Submit this information to Maine Medical Cannabis Certification.

Look for a text from MMCC
Within minutes of submitting your information, you will receive a two text messages from MMCC.
A. In the first text, we will confirm that we have received your information. Wait for a second text message.
B. The second text message will contain a link. Click this link and you will be brought into a virtual waiting room. You will be asked to confirm your First and Last name.
C. Once confirmed, a consultant will initiate a brief video consultation. Please remember to indicate whether you prefer to receive your med card via text, email or physical mail.

Consultation Complete
Once the consultation is complete, a digital copy of your med card will be texted or emailed to you, whichever is most convenient. After receiving your digital med card, you may begin shopping for medical cannabis at any medical caregiver or dispensary in Maine.
